I received a post from a friend at Yellowstone saying some of the crew is back again at Tower Fall. A lot of good folks have left for various reasons and a few work at different locations in the park now.
We may take a trip there later in the summer to try and see the dear friends we made there over the years. We don't expect to ever go back to work unfortunately, but it was so good to do so when we had the opportunity. Lots of sweet memories and fulfillment of a long awaited and planned time for our lives. God is good.
If we get to visit this year or in the future we will update the blog. In the meanwhile, if you read this blog and see the pictures I hope you'll plan a trip some day. Give yourself at least a week there....so much to see.

A Year later------Almost!!
Today is June 26, 2015 and we sit in hot and humid Baxter, TN. I regret that I did not complete last year's blog but we had some events that put a quick end to our Yellowstone Dream.
The summer of 2014 in Yellowstone was exceptionally hot and we were exceptionally busy in the store. The summer of 2013 was a breeze for us. Working 6 hours a day and only 4 days a week was a real dream - Yellowstone or anywhere. The road work in front of the store was a real nightmare. We ate dust all summer and getting in and out of the store parking lot and camp ground was a very time consuming and impatient event every day.
Knowing that the road and parking lot would be complete for business as usual at Tower Fall we were excited to go back. We knew that we would be working a full schedule and were OK with that. But what we did not know was DNC had hired half the staff of the year before and with road construction on the other side of the park that was driving traffic to us from Canyon, well to say we were busy is an understatement.
Bud started off the summer with an upper respiratory infection that took him two weeks to shake. It seemed to knock the wind out of his sails all summer. That along with the hot and surprisingly humid weather plus really poor prepared food led Bud to loose a lot of weight and energy.
Events with the job not really worth talking about and emotional stress from previous months took their toil on my poor heart and I had a heart attack. Quick trip to Bozeman for hospitalization and arteriogram revealed the need for a stent.
Our Cardiologist strongly recommended that we not return to Yellowstone in the capacity we had previously worked in. SO this year we stayed home and we have missed the park a lot. We are hopeful that perhaps we can return in a more controlled environment in a quieter and more sedentary position next year. We are praying about earnestly.
We love Yellowstone and if it is the Lord's will we will go back for one final year but He controls all of that. I am praying that if His will is not to go back that He will take the desire away,
